Where Can I Hide?

Psalms 139

O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit or stand. When far away you know my every thought. You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest. Every moment you know where I am. You know what I am going to say before I even say it. You both precede and follow me and place your hand of blessing on my head.

This is too glorious, too wonderful to believe! I can never be lost to your Spirit! I can never get away from my God! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the place of the dead, you are there. If I ride the morning winds to the farthest oceans, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your strength will support me. 11 If I try to hide in the darkness, the night becomes light around me. 12 For even darkness cannot hide from God; to you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are both alike to you.

13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit them together in my mother’s womb. 14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it. 15 You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion! 16 You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!

17-18 How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly! I can’t even count how many times a day your thoughts turn toward me.[a] And when I waken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!

19 Surely you will slay the wicked, Lord! Away, bloodthirsty men! Begone! 20 They blaspheme your name and stand in arrogance against you—how silly can they be? 21 O Lord, shouldn’t I hate those who hate you? Shouldn’t I be grieved with them? 22 Yes, I hate them, for your enemies are my enemies too.

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test my thoughts. 24 Point out anything you find in me that makes you sad, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

AMEN!

Praise The Lord

April 12, 2026

Psalm 150: “Praise the Lord, Praise God in his sanctuary. Praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power. Praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him for the sounding of the trumpet. Praise him with the harp and lyre. Praise him with tambourine and dancing. Praise him with the strings and flute. Praise him with the clash of cymbals. Praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.”

Yesterday we talked about prayer when doubting, but it is just as important to remember to Praise The Lord afterwards as it is pleasing to Him.

AMEN!

Psalms 103 The Living Bible

“I bless the Holy name of God with all my heart. Yes, I wil bless the Lord with all my heart and not forget the glorious things He has done for me.

He forgives all my sins. He heals me. He ransoms me from hell. He surrounds me with loving kindness and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things! My youth is renewed like the eagle’s! He gives justice to all those who are treated unfairly. He revealed His will and nature to Moses and the people of Israel.

He is tender and merciful toward those who don’t deserve it; He is slow to anger and full of kindness and love. He never bears a grudge, nor remains angy forever. He has not punished us as we deserve for all our sins, for his mercy towards those who fear and honor Him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth! He has removed our sins as far away as the east is from the west!

He is like a father to us, tender and sympathetic to those who reverence HIm. For He knows we are but dust, and that our days are few and brief, like grass, like flowers, blown by the wind and gone forever.

But the lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting, to those who reverence Him; His salvation to children’s children of those who are faithful to HIs covenant and remember to obey Him.

The Lord has made the heavens His throne; from there He rules over everything there is. Bless the Lord, you mighty angels of His when you carry out His orders, listening for the Lord, you armies of His angels who serve Him constantly.

Let everything everywhere bless the Lord! And how I BLESS HIM too!”

Amen!

Morning Devotions

March 6, 2026

Psalms 5:3-4, 7, 9 and 11

What a beautiful prayer to start the day!

“In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly. For You are n ot a God who is pleased with wickedness; with You evil are not welcome.

But I, by Your great love, can come into Your house; in reverence I bow down before Your holy temple.

Lead me, in Your righteousness because of my enemies–make Your way straight befoe me.

Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with malice. Their throat is an open grave with their tongues they tell lies. But let all who take refuge in You be glad; let them ever sing for joy!

Spread Your protection over them, that those who love Your name may rejoice in You.”

AMEN!

The Power of Praise

February 7, 2026

Psalms 34:1-10 The Living Bible

“I will praise the Lord no matter what happens! I will constantly speak of His glorious grace. I will boast of all His kindness to me! Let all who are discouraged take heart! Let us praise the Lord together, and exalt His Name!

For I cried to Him and he answered me! He freed me from all my fears! Others too were radiant at what He did for them. Theirs was no downcast look of rejection! This poor man cried to the Lord–and the Lord heard him and saved him out of his troubles. For the Angel of the Lord guards and rescues all who reverence Him!

Oh, God put us to the test and see how kind He is! See for yourselves the way His mercies shower down on all who trust in Him! If you belong to the Lord, reverence Him; for eveyone who does this has everything he needs.Even strong young lions sometimes go hungey, but those of us who reverence the Lord will never lack any good thing!”

This in itself is a powerful prayer! Remember to start your prayers with recognizing the Power of Jesus and to Praise Him! Then, with belief and faith, He will answer your request!

AMEN!!

Patience

Psalms Chapter 40 verses 1-3 New Living Bible

“I waited patiently for God to help me, then He listened and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out from the bog and the mire, and set my feet on a hard, firm path and steadied me as I walked along.”

This verse has taught me to be patient, even in the hardest of times. If we just trust in Him, He will lift us up and walk with us. We just need to learn to trust Him.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, forgive me for being impatient, upset, and frustrated when life doesn’t go as I planned. Forgive me for not checking to see if my plan aligns with yours. Thank you for always being there even when I try to do it my way. Please continue to walk by my side and guide me.

Amen.

Shout Your Praises To The Lord

January 24, 2026

Isaiah Chapter 13, Verses 1-6

“On that day you will say, “Praise the Lord! He was angry with me, but now He comforts me! See God has come to save me! I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord is my strength and song; He is my salvation! Oh, the joy of drinking deeply from Fountain of Salvation!”

In that wonderful day you will say “Thank the Lord! Praise His name! Tell the world about His wondorous love! How mighty He is! Sing to the Lord, for He has done wonderful things! Make known His praise around the world. Let all the people of Jerusalem shout His praise with joy. For great and mighty is the Holy One of Isreal, who lives among you!”

This passage is actually a prayer and a praise all in one! Let us remember to Praise Our Lord Jesus and Our Heavenly Father no matter our circumstances! Hallejuah!

Psalms 105

January 3, 2026

I have started reading the book of Psalms and there are so many beautiful passages that are prayers on their own and I want to share them with you. I encourage you to discover them again. Always remember to PRAISE HIS NAME first in times of growth and He will bless you!

Let’s start with with Psalms 105, Verse 1-5, from The Living Bible.

Thank the Lord for all the glorious things He does; proclaim them to the nations! Sing His praises and tell everyone about His miracles. Glory in the Lord; O worshippers of God, REJOICE!

Search for Him and for His strength, and keep on searching!

The Lord is My Shepherd

January 2, 2026

Heavenly Father, I ask that You will be with us as we go about our daily lives but also gently remind us that we need to put You first and foremost. When we trust and believe in You, the path that You have chosen is always rewarding.

Lord, You know the direction that we should be following but it is so easy for us to turn away from You. Shepherd your lambs, so that we don’t become lost to temptation.
