That None Should Perish

Isaiah 29:13-19 The Living Bible

¹³ The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth
    and honor me with their lips,
    but their hearts are far from me.
Their worship of me
    is based on merely human rules they have been taught.^[a]
14 Therefore once more I will astound these people
    with wonder upon wonder;
the wisdom of the wise will perish,
    the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.”
¹⁵ Woe to those who go to great depths
    to hide their plans from the Lord,
who do their work in darkness and think,
    “Who sees us? Who will know?”
¹⁶ You turn things upside down,
    as if the potter were thought to be like the clay!
Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it,
    “You did not make me”?
Can the pot say to the potter,
    “You know nothing”?¹⁷ In a very short time, will not Lebanon be turned into a fertile field and the fertile field seem like a forest?
¹⁸ In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll,
    and out of gloom and darkness
    the eyes of the blind will see.
¹⁹ Once more the humble will rejoice in the Lord;
    the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

God SEES YOU! He knows EVERYTHING about YOU! Do not think that if you hide in the DARK that He cannot see YOU! He is the Creator, not you.

God doesn’t want lip service or a heart that is hollow! Do not think that just because you learned how to worship Him that it is the same as True Worship! Humble yourself before Him, the one that created you, not the other way around.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit, thank you for allowing me, your humble servant to come before you.

Lord, forgive me for being lead astray by false teachings and believing their lies, I bow down before You. I am not worthy tobe near You and I ask for Your forgiveness.

You love me so much that You pulled me, a wretched soul, out of the dark and exposed me for who I was, a sinner, who is not worthy of You. But You have forgiven me when I did not deserve it. You redeemed me by sending Your Only Son, Lord Jesus, to pay the price of my sins and now I am YOURS!

Lord, please remind me that I need to sacrifice myself daily, and to watch out for the lies and deceit of this world, lest I fall away again. Cleanse my Heart and make it clean again with Your neverending love for me.

AMEN!
