That None Should Perish

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

This is very personal to me today as my cousin passed away earlier this week and we will miss him dearly.

MOURNING TURNED INTO JOY IN HEAVEN!

I praise Your Holy Name and I thank You for being the God of all comfort. I lift up everyone today who is walking through the heavy valley of mourning and grief. Lord, You know every tear that is cried, and You know the deep ache in our hearts when we lose those we care about.

I pray that You wrap Your arms of love around those who are grieving today. Let them feel the reality of Your promise in the Beatitudes. Where there is sorrow, pour out Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. Comfort those who are weary, steady those who feel broken, and remind us that our temporary trials on earth are not the end of the story.

Thank You for the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, where there is no more sickness, no more pain, and no more tears. Keep our eyes fixed on Your eternal kingdom and hold us close in Your green pastures today.
