That None Should Perish

I will be at a quilting retreat May 27-28. While I am gone, we’re going to continue look at the calling of Jesus’ disciples. I hope you will enjoy it and continue to share with others.

Just a quick question to think about. What does Jesus ask of you in order to get into Heaven?

Good works? Faith and belief in Him? Knowledge of the Bible? Prayer?

Take a moment to examine your heart today. The answer is clear: it is through faith and belief in Jesus alone that we are saved. Reading the Bible, praying, and doing good works are beautiful ways we grow closer to Him after we are saved, but they cannot earn our way to Heaven. Jesus paid it all!
