Isaiah 43:18 and 2 Corinthians 5:17

The Living Bible

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

And 2 Corinthians 5:17, “The old has passed away; behold, the new has come!”

Jesus wants YOU to forget your old ways and instead focus on your new life in Him. He has given YOU a new wardrobe. Those old clothes are what you were before, but He washed you and gave you a new life. Don’t keep going back to them.

You are a new creation in His Image! Look forward with eagerness to what He has in store for you! You have been forgiven and the old has been washed away! Walk forward in confidence with Him at your side! All of your debts have been paid in full by His love and sacrifice! All He wants of You is Your heart that He cleansed by His neverending love for You!

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit! Thank You for Your neverending LOVE for me! I didn’t deserve it but You, in Your infinite Love, pulled me up out from my sin, held me close and FORGAVE me in spite of myself.

Keep me from going back, looking back, and worrying about the past! You have already Erased My Past, Cleansed My Heart, and Forgiven Me! I want to stay here in the Present and Future with You leading me forward! You love ME that MUCH and I am eternally thankful for Your Saving Grace and Love!
