Dear Lord,
As I step into the quiet of this brand-new day, I come to You in full surrender.
Strip away any tattered shreds of self-importance, vanity, or human pride from my heart. Bind my brokeness with Your love.
Help me to guard the sacred trusts You whisper to my soul in the secret place.
May I never boast in my own strength, but only in the matchless grace of Your Holy Name.
Teach me to walk with the gentle, quiet posture of a child who simply loves their Father.
Keep my eyes fixed on the Lamb who was slain, who is completely worthy of all praise.
Cleanse my motives, quiet the static of this world, and let Your love rub deep into my soul.
May my life be an empty vessel that mirrors Your humility to a hurting world today.

Fill this empty vessel with your love for others, and let it overflow with compassion and love so that it can reach out to others in need of you.
