Value. It is easy to be fooled by a shiny object. Look at the shiny new ring! And then there are those who are not able to afford the price, and they settle for something smaller, not as shiny. But you settle for it anyway as it is pretty and no one will know that it is not real. That it is a fake. Oh, isn’t it gorgeous? I want that at any cost, it is so bright! No one will know the difference.
Isn’t that how your love for Jesus should be, shining through you, visible by your actions, faith, and belief in Jesus!
You are that jewel! You are that precious rock that He chose. He picked you up from the ground, cleaned and scrubbed the grime off of you, tested you, and polished you!
YOU are worth it. You have a true value that is meant to shine!
But there is a warning that goes along with it. There are a lot of imitations vying for your attention. Don’t let what Jesus gave you be exchanged for something that is not of Him. Remember, do not let the glitter, brightness and fake gold fool you.
