There are 4 favorite traps that satan loves to use on believers and we all have been trapped at one time or another. Or maybe we are stuck in one or more of those traps and don’t know it.

The four basic traps that it loves to use are:

GUILT and SHAME

ANGER

PRIDE

PAST HURTS

Here are some Key Bible Verses on Mental Traps and how to get out of those traps.

• 2 Corinthians 10:5: Instructs believers to take every thought captive and align it with Christ.
• James 4:7: Encourages submitting to God and resisting the devil to make him flee.
• Ephesians 6:11: Advises putting on the full armor of God to stand against evil schemes.
• 1 Peter 5:8: Warns to be vigilant and alert against the enemy.
• Philippians 4:8: Suggests focusing the mind on positive and godly things rather than fear.

Please be sure to check and see what type of bait it has in the trap and avoid it.

Check your emotions, are they aligned with Jesus’ teachings? Remember, satan always brings unrest, discouragement, and doubt to your soul.
