“IF…”

Satan is very sneaky and loves to twist words around, so you need to be aware of it’s lies, snares and traps. It sounds like an innocent search for answers. But when the enemy twists it, it turns into a demand for God to justify Himself to you. It shifts your posture from a trusting child to a judge questioning the Almighty.
It sounds safe. It sounds like you are leaving room for God’s will. But when the enemy injects it into your prayers, “If” becomes a toxic reservation that masks deep-rooted double-mindedness and instability.
- The Trap: It subtly tells God, “I don’t think You actually want to do this.” It speaks life into the possibility of failure rather than the certainty of God’s power.
- What the Bible Says: “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt… That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.” (James 1:6-7).
- The Victory: Drop the “If.” Move from conditional hesitation to absolute declaration. Pray with the stance of the leper who said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean,” and hear Jesus reply, “I am willing.” (Matthew 8:2-3).
