I want this to be a safe place for everyone with no pressure. I want you to know that I do not take donations or intend to monetize my blogs, ever. If you feel the need to donate, please consider these options instead as they will support spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Savior.

The Fresno Mission (Fresno, California)

A note from a generous friend has promised us a match that will triple the value of every gift they receive by August 31, 2026, up to $25,000.
“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise… but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish.” — 2 Peter 3:9

My heart has been deeply burdened for the vulnerable, homeless, and broken families in my local community of Fresno. The Fresno Mission is currently expanding its life-changing campus facilities to ensure that no hurting soul in our valley is left to perish on the streets. They are completely privately funded and rely on the body of Christ to meet their multi-million dollar capital and operational needs.

If the Lord prompts your heart to give financially, please donate directly to them. I do not collect, see, or track any donations. fresnomission.org

Below are a few other places that are worthy.

  • Global Gospel Outposts
  • Below are a few other places that are worthy:
  • The Chosen (Come and See Foundation): Their “Pay It Forward” model allows people to donate so that others worldwide can see the story of Jesus for free.
  • Samaritan’s Purse: They are often the first on the ground in global crises, providing both physical aid and the Gospel in Jesus’ name.
  • Operation World: This is an excellent resource for your own research; they provide specific prayer needs for every country in the world.
  • Compassion International: If you feel led to help children, this ministry focuses on releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
  • Billy Graham Evangelistic Association: Known for large-scale global evangelism, they help “tell the story” to those who haven’t heard.

Thank you. God Bless You.

the Chosen consults with Mormons, and lines in the show are Mormon doctrine. Can’t support that.

also conversations never spoken appear to me to be adding to scripture, which is condemned in scripture itself.

No, they rented a set from them for a while. And they filmed in Utah because they had sets ready for them but they are not mormons. I used that phrase as it was fitting and not endorsing any religion. Me, I belong to the Nazarene church. And Jonathan Roumie is Catholic. I only donate to K-Love radio, Turning Point with David Jeremiah, and The Children’s Network Service. Dallas Jenkins is the producer and creator of the show and is an Evangelical pastor who uses scripture all the time. He wanted the show to be what it would be like for Jesus as he is fully divine and fully human, the human side so people would relate more easily with him.

I ask you to check Wretched and some other Bible commentators about this. I Am the law of Moses is a quote…and it is not scripture…I will stick to not putting words in Jesus’s mouth…

Candra, thank you for pointing it out, I do appreciate it. But can we agree to disagree and stay friends, instead. I would rather think about our friendship instead as that is more important to me. You can choose whatever place you want to donate, it is just a suggestion and others do like to donate. I do not check to see who donates what to where. I leave it in His hands. And if you don’t want to donate, no problem as I will never know or ask ever. Check “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.” — John 21:25 (NIV)
